People Do Not Eat GDP
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has publicly challenged the Federal Government’s celebration of Nigeria’s latest GDP growth figures. National Publicity Secretary Bolaji Abdullahi argued that official statistics mean little while citizens face rising food prices and a “crushing weight” of energy costs.
